You got slammed. AT&T has always been great at pulling sneaky sh*t like that. That's why I dont use them. They use to call the place I work and try to get up to upgrade our system. The first question they always ask is "are you able to sign and make purchases for your company?" If you say "yes" they get it recorded and use that as evidence that you wanted to upgrade. Sneaky bullsh*t if you ask me. It got to the point, whenever they called, I'd say "no, no, and no thank you" and hang up on them. Good luck getting this mess straightened out. See if you can find a regional managers email address on line, forget dealing with the idiot customer service people. You will probably get better results. And dont deal with AT&T again. Good luck.

Premise: Cultural problems arise because of resource depletion. To counteract this, MDC's should use their $$ to stop this from happening. Unfortunately, when MDC's bring their $$ to help, they also bring their culture and ideologies, causing the original culture to be diluted or abandoned.

Example: Say there's not enough food in Africa. An American oil company goes in and tries to stop land/territory/farm war by bringing jobs, but brings Americanism (food, style, religion, language, etc.) along, both deliberately and unintentionally. It's kind of like corporate colonialism. The jobs help stop the no-food conflicts, but now the culture has changed. Also, what are the oil company's real motives for being there? Are they trying to help Africa, or are they advancing the interests of the MDC's? Is it possible for the oil company to help without hurting?
