VagabondOracle: Yes, I did address what you asked. Wind towers are less harmful than coal or nuclear, but they will NEVER replace those. Research how much usable energy is generated by wind. Very, very little. This is just another harmful scheme with no benefits. The real solution is greater energy efficiency.
As for the environmental impacts, it harms wildlife and the humans who live near them with low-frequency noise.
