Let me put this into a different perspective. "Conservatives" are identified by you as the "shills" for big oil, but NOT Liberals. Yet, if you express this deep an indignation and anger, then what do the Liberal Democratic Congress and Obama, who have CONTROL over this issue, been ? Obama is the one who has consistently rejected any NEW power sources, except "wind" which is a farce, in both efficiency and long term to meet our needs. Not to mention it was on Obama's watch that a billion dollars went to China to develop the turbine for these "wind" machines, so they can sell it back to the U.S. at a profit.
So rather than single out Cons as the gullible, why not go after those in POWER who COULD have done something about it.
